 Dear Partners,

Greetings. To introduce ourselves, we are a UK based Charity working towards the cause of creating Awareness and Detection of Breast, Cervix and Oral Cancer in the semi urban and rural areas of India, we will be covering other cancers in the future. A vision that was flagged off by Mr. APS Chawla in memory of his wife Ms.Manjit Kaur Chawla, who lost her life to the much dreaded word Cancer.

Roko Cancer project is of vital importance to this era where ignorance towards Cancer is rampant; a project which could nurture the seed of awareness in the far flung areas in India that would not only enlighten but also empower the women. This, needless to say would provide impetus and strength to the existing “not so aware” regions towards Cancer Eradication. 

An effort that voiced its appeal loud and clear “Roko Cancer” - It could happen to you. The movement gained momentum in 2005 and as volunteers and cause driven partners joined hands globally,  Roko Cancer’s clarion call started reaching out its buzzword of “awareness” to the far flung rural and semi urban areas of India, at a fast and furious pace. We are the only charity in India who has launched fully equipped MOBILE BREAST CANCER DETECTION UNIT undertaking free Mammograms.

We request you to join us and be a member of ROKO CANCER SHARING AND CARING SUPPORT PROGRAMME .We pledge to reach out to the ‘last one in the queue’ in the far flung regions in India – to reach out the message of Awareness towards Cancer or shall we say Awareness towards Life.
